Quant Business Development Manager
Basic salary £70k-90k
£120k-150k OTE

I am working with a market leader in financial services training industry. This company is known globally for its innovative training and professional educational solutions which they offer to corporate clients and individual professionals. The worldwide blue chip has centres in most established financial hubs including London, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai and New York. As a respected leader in their industry, they are accredited by several regulating bodies and have an impressive offering of training solutions.
Due to their flagship professional qualification being delivered exclusively by this business, demand is high and is utilised by 5000 professionals across over 90 countries. This product has gained global recognition as the benchmark qualification for high level professionals in quant finance.

They are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to be based from their office in Central London.

Responsibilities
*Identify and develop new business opportunities in the Quant subject area leveraging off existing resources and expertise within the business
*Grow existing corporate accounts, meeting senior contacts to increase the number of corporate sponsored delegates onto the training programme and to identify other Quant training needs for the client
*Win new corporate clients, developing relationships with senior contacts to expand our Quant business area, focusing on generating new sponsored enrolments on the training programme
*Working with relevant societies/industry groups/other channels to develop sales and marketing partnerships globally
*Build partnerships with recruiters and corporates to increase the number of job specs featuring the training programme
*Deliver sales pitch and use consultative approach to provide bespoke solution to clients

The ideal candidate will have:
*History of working within a commercially targeted environment and be comfortable taking on an explicit revenue target
*Ability to sell high volume complex solutions to both technical and executive audiences
*Good mathematical and numerical skills. It would be ideal to have knowledge of quantitative finance, but ultimately you should have the ability to explain complicated concepts with ease to a wide range of audiences
*Scientific background/quantitative finance or financial engineering degree
*Experience in a quantitative role in a major financial institution
*Experience in financial education or similar experience selling high value education programmes is preferred e.g. MBA, MSc
