Production Manager - Large Format
Salary - £35K - £40K
Location - Amsterdam or London
My client is looking for a Production Manager to join their ever-growing Large Format company. The production manager is crucial in realising our clients design and delivering it to the consumer across a variety of formats. Involved with the planning, coordination and control of manufacturing processes on a day to day basis. Ensuring goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality.
Key Accountabilities:
*Overseeing the production process from development to implementation
*Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes
* Ensuring all elements conform with health and safety requirements
*Monitoring the production processes and adjusting schedules as needed
*Drawing up a production schedule and critical path for each project
*Strong knowledge of 3D production methods and principles
*Ensuring that the production is cost effective
*Making sure that products are produced on time and are of good quality
*Working out the human and material resources needed
*Estimating costs and setting the quality standards
*Working with our approved suppliers / suggesting suitable alternatives
*Liaising among different departments e.g creative and account management
*Onsite installation
*Working with managers to implement the company's policies and goals
Skills:
*Project management
*Print process expertise
*Great people and time management
*Collaboration and adaptability
*Managing budgets
*Strong negotiation skills
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Decisive and clear
*Ability to multitask
*Calm and constructive problem solving ability
Requirements:
*Experience in Project Management software, Synergist is preferable
*3-5 years' experience in production, ideally within creative agencies
* Professionalism and punctuality
*Forward thinking and always looking for ways to utilise future technology and innovative materials
*A strong interest in design is preferred
*Being positive and motivational
