Senior Security Consultant - New Role!

As a Senior Security Consultant you can expect to:

*Lead and manage security design consulting engagements.
*Mentor Junior team members.
*Manage a team of security design consultants.
*Build trust and rapport between new and existing client relationships.
*Facilitating the provision of additional Control risks services.
*Undertake technical security reviews, design surveys, and audits.
*Be instrumental in the design of physical and electronic security systems, liaising in conjunction with specialist engineers.
*Act as a lead consultant for the company.
*Innovate ways to improve the company's services.

To be a Senior Security Consultant you need to:

*Be educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering related discipline.
*Have 8+ years of experience in a Security Design Engineer Consultant role.
*Have a strong commercial focus; whether that be financial management, legal, or contractual.
*Have strong interpersonal skills- with an ability to build trust and rapport.
*Preferably have some knowledge of design related software (e.g. AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, MS project etc.).
*Have a thorough knowledge of current national, and international standards, as well as installation practices.
*Have a proven ability to manage and deliver consulting engagements.
*Ideally have certified, relevant security industry qualifications.
*Be able to manage sensitive situations with extra care.
*Be effective at decision making and judgement when it comes to difficult situations.
