Genesis Associates announce expansion of the IT Sales Division

Genesis Associates are pleased to announce that Edward Meyrick has recently joined our software sales team.  Ed comes from a software sales background-selling niche address verification and management software into the corporate market place working for a company called Hopewiser. 

With excellent new business skills and a huge drive Ed has already made a significant impact by making several placements within his first period.  Ed hopes to fast track through Genesis with the view to managing his own team within the next 12 months.  From all the management team at Genesis we would like to welcome Ed on board and we believe you are going to be a fantastic addition to this already very successful team.

Genesis Associates announce expansion of Technology & Change practice

With immediate effect, Genesis Associates have appointed David Doherty as a Consultant within their Technology & Change practice. David, formerly a Senior Broker with Bradshaw, Farnham & Lea brings with him a wealth of experience within the financial services sector and will be supporting clients within the banking, insurance and wealth management sectors.

Commenting on the new appointment, Christopher Evans, Divisional Manager - Technology & Change said: "Over the previous six months we have witnessed significant growth in the volume of mandates being received from our financial services clients, with regulatory developments such as RDR & Solvency II accompanied by continued merger and acquisition activity our analysts are forecasting continued growth within the sector. As a result we felt it relevant to expand in order to support such activity and the appointment of David demonstrates our commitment to improving our service to clients whilst ensuring that we are capable of supporting their objectives. David brings with him a wealth of industry knowledge and demonstrates a lasting and consistent ability to build strong, productive relationships. Coupled with the recent improvements to our training and development programme, we are extremely confident that David will be integral to the divisions success for years to come."

Accelerated Growth for all Divisions in 2010 & 2011

The first 6months of 2010 have seen recorded breaking performances from all divisions and as such we have started the process to launch our 2nd office at the start of 2011.

As part of our continued expansion plans we are launching a Fast Track Recruitment Training Academy designed specifically for Sales Professionals looking to make the move into the thriving world of recruitment.

Recruitment is a fast paced sales industry, its not a conventional 9-5pm job, but then neither are the earnings.  Successful recruiters share many of the same qualities

  • They are persuasive and can influence people to their view point
  • They are inquisitive and not afraid to ask the question or to challenge an answer
  • They work hard, and never give up, even if results don’t always go to plan
  • They can build rapport very quickly with decision makers at all levels
  • They bring enthusiasm and positivity to their day to day work, and this influences those around them
  • Attention to detail and a focus on quality. Good numeracy and literary skills are essential
  • They enjoy being on the phone all day, talking with clients and candidates and closing deals
  • They can multi task as they may be working on 5-10 different projects at any given time.

We are looking for people with proven sales experience; self-starters who make things happen rather than expect it to happen around them. Degree educated is preferred but definitely not essential.  This is not open for just anyone; only the best of the best will be selected. We are looking for 5 outstanding individuals to join our business in August / September

Record Breaking June

We’re pleased to announce that June 2010 was a new record-breaking month for Invoicing AND for Sales with just under £500k of business produced. This surpasses the previous record set in May. In particular Change Management and Commercial Sales posted impressive results.
