Production Manager needed in ESSEX - Night shift
* Up to 38k DOE potential overtime
* 6pm - 4am working hours

One of the biggest print production companies in Essex are seeking an experienced print production manager - predominantly litho, to join their expanding production team. They require somebody with an excellent working knowledge of print production processes and excellent man management skills. An excellent work ethic is also required, due to the nature of the shift pattern.
THE ROLE:
* The Production Manager will be tasked with managing a team of Printers and Finishers on the night shift.
Overseeing a team of Digital Operators - machines are the Xerox Igen 4 / other Xerox machinery
On the Litho side - Heidelberg / Speedmaster 74 5/6 colour presses / Speedmaster 75 XL 10 colour presses
* Create and manage print production schedules.
* Organise, control and monitor the flow of projects ensuring quality is maintained.
* Examine finished samples and approve quality before delivery to client.
* Support the Head of Production with other projects as and when required.
* Write accurate technical specifications that reflect client goals, requirements, scheduling & budget restraints.
* Support the day to day running of the production department.
* Send estimate requests to printers and follow up.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have previous experience running a print production department.
* Industry experience of print - specifically litho - ideally having used Heidelberg/Xerox machinery
* Confident communicator.
* Excellent team work and able to step up into a team leader position.
* Knowledge of print production processes.
* Strong technical knowledge would be an advantage.
