Technical Manager - Heat Interface Units / District Heating
Job Title: Technical Design Manager - Heat Interface Units / District Heating
Job reference Number: IT- J19402
Area to be covered: South East
Remuneration: £40,000 - £47,000 + Company Performance Related Bonus
ROLE:
*Responsible for leading and managing the technical design team with a view to supporting the external technical sales team in securing projects and the business in improving product performance
*Provide technical support and expertise to the sales and services teams
*Direct involvement with large projects as a technical point of contact with M&E; Consultants for predominantly residential projects
*Manage key projects in development of new products
*Review competitor products to ensure that the product range remains competitive
*Manage the company test facility to maximise performance of products
*Troubleshoot any post installation technical issues on projects
PERSON:
*Must have a demonstrable track record within a technical position surrounding heating related products / systems such as: CHP central heating plant, district heating, communal heating, commercial heating, commercial boilers, air movement or large / central heating systems or ideally heat interface units
*Ideally experience in district heating systems
*Capable of speaking to clients to justify technology from a commercial stand point
*Understand the specification process in securing large heating projects
*Understanding of heating system design, principles and industry regulations
*Degree or equivalent qualified and ideally an CIBSE Heat Network certified
*Analytical approach, strong communicator and able to influence other teams
*Dynamic, professional and ethical approach
