AREA SALES REPRESENTATIVE / TERRITORY SALES / FIELD SALES - Capital Equipment / Environment Sector
LOCATION: Must live on patch in PO, BN, GU, RH - Portsmouth / Brighton / Guildford Redhill - SOUTH EAST
BASIC & OTE: £20k basic + High OTE of £60/80K - transparent commission structure and accelerator.
PACKAGE: uncapped OTE £45K (1st year) - £60/80K (2nd/3rd years) - Genuine high commission levels due the industry being led by need and legislation.

DO YOU have strong new business led business to business field / territory sales / area sales background?
DO YOU have tenacity, a confident attitude and proven territory management skills?
HAVE YOU got experience of selling in to the Private Sector, SME's and Blue Chip Companies and industries such as retail / distribution / manufacturing.
HAVE YOU BEEN in area sales / field sales / territory sales within Hygiene Services, Office Supplies, Advertising, Directories, Media, Business Services, Construction / Building Sector, Health & Safety Employment Law, Capital Equipment, Franking Machine, Facilities Management or similar business to business sectors?
ARE YOU more about the commission and earning potential than the basic salary?
ARE YOU more of a new business hunter than an account management person?

COMPANY INFORMATION

- Part of a major global group.
- Boasting the biggest market share in their sector.
- Clients within Private and some Public sector including Factories, Local Authorities, Manufacturing, Packaging, Logistics.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING

- Proven field sales and face to face sales experience.
- Proven territory management skills and ability to effectively manage a region.
- Strong sales negotiation, objection handling and closing skills.
- Must be new business focused and enjoy sourcing new business opportunities, networking for new clients, prospecting and cold calling.
- A structured sales approach and ability to negotiate for large contracts
- The confidence to present to senior decision makers and groups.
- Excellent understanding and application of the sales cycle, especially long sales processes.
- A naturally confident and personable sales approach and positive, upbeat outlook on sales and life in general.
- May consider industry experience in waste / recycling IF somebody is a sales person, rather than advisory or technical.

IDEALLY YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING

- Experience of selling in to industrial type companies.
- Experience of selling high value / low volume products or capital equipment.
- Proof of achievements and sales success such as league tables, sales awards.
- Understanding of selling on a contract basis.
- Experience in a self-sufficient sales role, sourcing own leads and closing sales

ROLE INFORMATION

- Responsible for sales of recycling equipment & accessories, lease purchases contracts, rental contracts and service contracts.
- A new business focused sales role with emphasis on sourcing new clients and building a client base.
- Managing client accounts for a 12 month period beforehand over to the support teams.
- Dealing with both Private and Public sector clients including Retail, NHS, Manufacturing
- Selling in to any sector that produces high volumes of clean waste and that has to be / wishes to be Environmentally friendly (cardboard, plastic, glass waste etc).
- Working to extremely achievable revenue targets of £20k across a 4 week period.
- Dealing with sales ranging from £5-25k per order.
- Generally expected to bring on 2/3 deals per month in an extremely buoyant market.
- This is NOT a technical or advisory role - it is a SALES role.
