Field Service Engineer - Managed Print Services

£25k - £28k DOE + company car

My client is an established and growing company with the Managed Print Solutions and Document Solutions industry. They are a nationally recognised business & have offices across the UK. With major expansion and growth under their belts over the past year, they have expanded their sales team which has subsequently increased the number accounts that needing servicing.

Due to great success, they are currently embarking on an exciting period of growth and are looking to recruit an exceptional Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician that are hungry to grow with the business.

The role will be a remote position, with an autonomous approach attending service appointments. The successful Field Service Engineer will have proven commercial facing experience and first rate interpersonal skills.

Package:

* £18,000 - £28,000 Basic Salary DOE
* Company Car/Car allowance
* 25 days holiday

The main responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer:

* Travel from site to site providing preventive maintenance and IT support on MFD's, Copiers, Scanners & Print Production hardware
* Provide IT support face to face and also over the phone diagnosing problems
* Have a keen interest in IT, inside and out of work keeping up to date with the latest trends and technologies and be able to provide strategic advice
* Achieving personal budgets and targets through profitable inventory controls
* Developing relationships with existing and potential customers
* Growing and maintaining an expert level of knowledge of the manufacturer product range and competitive equipment
* Maintain a handle on competitors' activities
* Complying with all Company Policies and Pricing structures
* Completing all paperwork and reporting documentation

To succeed in this role the Field Service Engineer / Field Service Technician will:

* Have a recent proven & successful background in working within the MFD, Copier, and Printer solutions industry
* Must have strong experience working with Toshiba and/or Canon
* Be extremely technically minded
* Be customer service focused with excellent communication skills
* Be energetic with a 'can do' and positive attitude to work
* Be disciplined and methodical, approaching your work in an ethical manner and with integrity
