Business Development Manager
Manchester
£40,000 + Double OTE uncapped
The Business Development Manager position is with a company with 500+ employees worldwide and 20+ offices - they have a real global presence. They specialise in providing data and software into a range of industries. After years of continued and consistent growth, the Manchester office are now looking to expand their team and add an experience new business sales professional to the team.
The role would require you to be based from the office in Manchester and drive new business on the phone. You would ideally spend half your time out of the office though visiting prospective clients throughout the UK.
So what candidate are we looking for?
*Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in business or sales management,
*5+ years of overall B2B sales experience with strong background managing the entire sales process from beginning to end,
*3+ years of new account development selling, business services, software, or complex solutions,
*Sales "hunter" with proven prospecting and sales cycle management skills, as well as a consistent track record of success meeting financial objectives
