Role Purpose and Description
The client is a privately owned managed data services provider serving UK mid-market customers. The Group has a converged services portfolio - including datacentre, connectivity, voice and cloud offerings - designed to help companies meet the challenges of a connected, always-on world.

Looking to build upon our success by appointing a New Business Development Manager based in London. This will be an involved and challenging role with significant opportunity for skills development and career progression.

Duties and Responsibilities

*Identify potential key clients
*Engage with senior level decision makers over the phone and face to face
*Build relationships, close meetings and new business opportunities
*Achievement of targeted business objectives in line with sales plan
*Specific management of relationships, agreements, service and commercial terms
*Accurate Sales Forecasts


Required Competencies (Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Attitude)

*Experience of working in fast growth new business environment
*A full understanding of the current Avaya portfolio, IP Office
*Ability to convey benefits of SIP and understanding of traditional TDM connectivity
*Relationship management and strategic networking
*Worked as an integral part of a team
*Worked to strict key targets & objectives
*Delivered a solution based sales approach

Desired but not essential

*Understanding of MPLS networks
*Knowledge of managed Cloud services


Details
Remuneration
*Up to £45k Basic + £60k uncapped commission

Benefits
*25 days holiday (5 may be selected by the company), plus 8 public holidays
*Healthcare and Pension after probationary period
*Death in Service upon joining the company
