Title: Structural Packaging Designer
Reports to: Technical Director
Job Purpose: The Structural Packaging Designer will be responsible for developing intuitive, creative, and cost effective packaging solutions for customer with interaction with sales personnel & client to ensure needs are met and the design of the appropriate packaging solution is achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
*To ensure All QMS records are completed accurately and in full.
*To complete and maintain high housekeeping standards within the area.
*To comply with the company's Quality Management Systems and Health & Safety procedures.
*Creation of and innovation of new packaging designs from client brief.
*General sample making
*Creating mock ups from client artwork
*Generating layouts for production process and estimating
*Die ordering and associated tooling
*Liaising with sales, client & production departments ensuring design is fit for purpose and producible in bulk
*Handling blanket / trace / patch sheet output
*Keeping a good clean environment in the studio
*Ordering of general consumables for the studio
*Continual improvement of processes
* Ability to use ESKO software, in particular ArtiosCAD
* MUST have experience in cartons
