Sustainability Consultant - BREEAM Assessor
Role: Sustainability Consultant - BREEAM Assessor
Salary: Competitive (Dependant on Experience)
Location: Manchester
My client is a major international interdisciplinary practice of architects, designers, engineers and urbanists working together to create outstanding 'places for people'.
They work closely with users, clients and the community to create special places for living, working, shopping, culture and learning across Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
My client has a leading track record in all major sectors including health, education, workplace, retail, urbanism, heritage, housing, transport, leisure, public safety and energy utilities, having won over 750 awards for design quality from international and national bodies.
My client currently have an opportunity for a Sustainability Consultant to join their growing Sustainability group. You will be required to take a proactive role in existing projects, as well as contributing to growing the project portfolio through seeking out and building relationships, and being engaged with the wider sustainability agenda.
Essential Requirements
*Licensed BREEAM non-domestic buildings assessor or be able to demonstrate 2-3 years working on BREEAM projects.
*Have experience and knowledge of other Environmental Management and Assessment tools as required, incl. BREEAM, LEED, Ska, CEEQUAL
*Have graduated with a relevant degree (Engineering / Environmental Sciences / Environmental Management)
*Be skilled at technical report writing
*Have the ability to manage their time effectively
*Be a confident communicator and presenter
Desirable Requirements:
*Have strong Microsoft Excel skills
*An understanding of both energy modelling , GIS and analysis would be an advantage
*Ability to use Adobe Creative Suite
